165 AC
165 AC
2-way 16.5 cm coaxial kit
The Access 165 AC coaxial kit brings Focal sound into your car with ease. With a diameter of 16.5 cm and a rated power of 60 watts, it can be easily installed in any interior to create an effective and demonstrative audio system!
POWER
Thanks to the high nominal power rating of the loudspeakers, you can enjoy top-quality sound on the move. The 25 mm coil (double layer) on Kapton ® backing guarantees high power handling and distortion-free reproduction. It is combined with a rigid, non-magnetic, anti-resonant ABS frame.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
The integrated crossover makes kit installation quick and easy. The open-worked, profiled loudspeaker grilles ensure discreet, elegant integration.
SPATIALIZED SOUND
The tweeters are positioned on a tilting, swiveling mount, optimizing the soundstage within the space, while the DFS ®diaphragm woofers add dynamics and richness to the bass.

TECHNOLOGIES
DFS MEMBRANE
Power handling
DFS® (Dual Fiberglass Structure) technology is made up of robust, reliable membranes. Composed of two glass fibres braided at 90° and sealed with a polyurethane coating, this material can be used in extreme acoustic and climatic conditions... It offers efficient power handling and good bass response.
INVERTED DOME TWEETER
Optimum space dispersion
The inverted dome tweeter has been a Focal signature since 1981, offering the property of being a true micro-speaker. The curvature of the dome is much less pronounced than that of positive domes. This results in better space dispersion and very low directionality, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivalled dynamics, enabling sound engineers to precisely control the dosage of compression. The precision of the image (height, width and depth) is remarkable, making it easy to position each instrument. What's more, a waveguide has been developed to perfect spatialization and further enhance the inverted dome's very low directionality. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
