690 AC
690 AC
2-way coaxial kit
This 16.4 x 23.5 cm coaxial kit is designed to reproduce deep bass throughout the vehicle. It will easily find its place in the doors or on the rear parcel shelf of your car (depending on the original location). As with other Access products, you can quickly connect your kit to a car radio or amplifier, thanks to the integrated crossover.
PERFORMANCE
Highly resistant DFS® diaphragm, reliable butyl suspension, robust, anti-resonant ABS bowl, optimized 30 mm coil, high-efficiency 90 mm motor, integrated crossover for quick and easy installation: the 690 AC kit is at the service of performance.
SOUND SPATIALIZATION
Positioned on angled, adjustable mounts, the aluminum inverted dome tweeters provide excellent spatialization of sound, optimizing the soundstage within the passenger compartment. High frequencies are revealed with finesse and precision.

TECHNOLOGIES
DFS MEMBRANE
Power handling
DFS® (Dual Fiberglass Structure) technology is made up of robust, reliable membranes. Composed of two glass fibres braided at 90° and sealed with a polyurethane coating, this material can be used in extreme acoustic and climatic conditions... It offers efficient power handling and good bass response.
INVERTED DOME TWEETER
Optimum space dispersion
The inverted dome tweeter has been a Focal signature since 1981, offering the property of being a true micro-speaker. The curvature of the dome is much less pronounced than that of positive domes. This results in better space dispersion and very low directionality, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivalled dynamics, enabling sound engineers to precisely control the dosage of compression. The precision of the image (height, width and depth) is remarkable, making it easy to position each instrument. What's more, a waveguide has been developed to perfect spatialization and further enhance the inverted dome's very low directionality. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
