ACX 100
ACX 100
2-way 10 cm coaxial kit
Make your first Focal installation both demonstrative and discreet with the ACX 100 kit. Developed in France by Focal, it delivers a neutral, dynamic sound, precise highs and an enhanced soundstage thanks to its 10 cm woofer and directional tweeter. It can be combined with electronics or directly connected to the vehicle's original amplifier. Its high sensitivity guarantees a level of performance unmatched in its price category.
PERFORMANCE
Auditor products benefit from Focal expertise: mylar inverted dome tweeter for precise treble and enhanced soundstage; Polypropylene diaphragm for a neutral, dynamic sound; butyl suspension for great resistance...
CUSTOM INSTALLATION
Compact, the woofers can be surface-mounted or concealed in the original locations within the passenger compartment. This kit is ideal for a first Focal installation or for upgrading your original system.
DESIGN
Rigidity and durability are the hallmarks of the loudspeakers' steel bowls. The flat grilles, supplied in ABS and mesh, contribute to both design and performance. Finally, the tweeter's lacquered black finish ensures perfect visual integration with the vehicle.

TECHNOLOGIES
INVERTED DOME TWEETER
Optimum space dispersion
The inverted dome tweeter has been a Focal signature since 1981, offering the property of being a true micro-speaker. The curvature of the dome is much less pronounced than that of positive domes. This results in better space dispersion and very low directionality, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivalled dynamics, enabling sound engineers to precisely control the dosage of compression. The precision of the image (height, width and depth) is remarkable, making it easy to position each instrument. What's more, a waveguide has been developed to perfect spatialization and further enhance the inverted dome's very low directionality. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
