The ACX 165 coaxial kit benefits from Focal's expertise to offer a hi-fi quality first installation. Combined with dedicated electronics or connected to your vehicle's original amplifier, the 16.5 cm woofers are easily amplified, for significantly improved on-board listening.
PERFORMANCE
Developed in France, this kit delivers neutral, dynamic sound, precise treble and enhanced soundstage thanks to its polypropylene membrane woofer and directional mylar tweeter.
SIMPLE ASSEMBLY
Compact, the woofers can be surface-mounted or totally concealed in the vehicle's original slots. ABS and Mesh grilles are supplied.
DESIGN
Rigidity and durability are the hallmarks of the loudspeakers' steel bowls. The tweeter's black lacquered finish blends seamlessly into the interior.

INVERTED DOME TWEETER
Optimum space dispersion
The inverted dome tweeter has been a Focal signature since 1981, offering the property of being a true micro-speaker. The curvature of the dome is much less pronounced than that of positive domes. This results in better space dispersion and very low directionality, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivalled dynamics, enabling sound engineers to precisely control the dosage of compression. The precision of the image (height, width and depth) is remarkable, making it easy to position each instrument. What's more, a waveguide has been developed to perfect spatialization and further enhance the inverted dome's very low directionality. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
