In addition to its power of 400 watts and its Flax membrane delivering a natural sound, one of the assets of the P 20 FSE is its slim profile giving it a shallow depth and even more lightness. Ideal for use in a compact enclosed box (6 to 9 L), this subwoofer will fit perfectly in tight spaces while offering deep and precise bass.
POWER AND PRECISION
For deep low frequencies, Focal's engineers have chosen a robust, streamlined surround that allows the cone to move widely, for an extended frequency response. A special coil ensures perfectly adapted ventilation.
ICONIC FLAX MEMBRANE
Made from French flax fiber (Flax), the membrane is resolutely focused on acoustic performance and design. Its rigidity enables it to deliver precise, dense bass.

FLAX MEMBRANE
Purity and precision of sound
As the key component of a loudspeaker, the membrane is at the heart of our acoustic engineers' research. After more than five years of research and development, in 2013 Focal unveiled an exclusive membrane made from flax. Patented, this Flax cone is a sandwich made of very high quality French flax fibre placed between two thin sheets of glass fibre. It satisfies all the criteria of a high-fidelity membrane: lightness to offer good dynamics, rigidity to hold the bass and damping to deliver a neutral, natural, uncolored sound. It is an emblematic Focal innovation in many hi-fi products.
