SUB 30 KXE
SUB 30 KXE
Subwoofer 30cm
Senior to the SUB 25 KXE, the 30 KXE subwoofer features a 30 cm bass driver. Manufactured in our workshops and equipped with Focal's emblematic K2 membrane, it stands out for its high power handling and exceptional reliability.
EXCEPTIONAL BASS
Thanks to its K2 diaphragm, which combines rigidity, lightness and damping, the bass is precise and dynamic. Offering exceptional sound levels, the subwoofer has an SPL perfectly suited to closed volume or bass-reflex applications.
FOCAL KNOW-HOW
The rigid, non-magnetic frame with its exclusive profile favors optimum sound excursion, while the double voice coil motor ensures even greater linearity and power.
OPTIMIZED WIRING
The terminal block which electrically connects the subwoofer to your audio system is a "push-button" terminal block, making wiring and installation easier.

TECHNOLOGIES
K2 SANDWICH MEMBRANE
Purity and precision of sound
The diaphragm, the key component of a loudspeaker, is at the heart of our acoustic engineers' research. Shape and materials are essential for high-fidelity reproduction. In 1986, our teams unveiled an aramid fibre sandwich membrane, recognizable by its unique yellow color. It has been extensively renewed over the years, while retaining the characteristics that made it such a success. Today, it consists of an ultra-light foam core sandwiched between a layer of aramid fibre and a layer of glass fibre. It combines the three key factors of a loudspeaker membrane: rigidity, lightness and damping, for a precise, dynamic and uncolored sound.
PROGRESSIVE SPIDER
For exceptional dynamics
At the rear of the diaphragm is the spider, which holds the lower part of the cone in place. By working on this essential element of the loudspeaker, and in particular by developing a spider with a progressive profile, our engineers have achieved better damping of the sandwich cone's movements, greatly enhancing the linearity, precision and dynamics of the sound.
