FRAK
FRAK
32mm tweeter
An exclusive Focal innovation, the FRAK tweeter is a revolution in Car Audio with its unique power handling (600 Hz - 32 kHz). Its Aluminum/Magnesium cone with “M” profile brings unprecedented dynamics to your installation. Perfection of the treble and great clarity of the midrange combine for very high-end listening.
A UNIQUE ALLOY
Aluminum provides a rigid diaphragm for a smooth descent in frequency and a clean midrange. Magnesium provides superb damping and, thanks to its light weight, enables the tweeter to perform brilliantly in the extreme treble.
FOCAL KNOW-HOW
The tweeter diaphragm features an exclusive "M" profile for improved sound dispersion. Added to this is a neodymium motor offering high acoustic performance in a limited depth.
COMPLEMENTARITY
The Tweeter FRAK blends perfectly with the other products in the K2 Power M range, contributing to harmonious on-board acoustics and pure hi-fi sound.

TECHNOLOGIES
TWEETER FRAK
Perfect treble
For perfectly reproduced high frequencies, Focal engineers research and develop specific tweeter cones. Shapes and materials play an essential role in reproduction. For the FRAK tweeter cone, they chose aluminum/magnesium, combined with an M-shaped profile. This revolutionary combination in Car Audio offers a beautiful descent in frequency and superb damping. The lightness of the cone allows the tweeters in particular to shine in the treble extremes.
TMD SUSPENSION
Stabilized surround, eliminates vibrations
While our engineers are experts in the development of exclusive diaphragms, they also innovate in all the components that make up the loudspeakers, such as the surround that connects the diaphragm to the frame, the performance of which must be mastered. Introduced in 2015, Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) technology with harmonic damping consists of the addition of finely positioned toroidal weights to stabilize the surround for even greater sonic neutrality. This technology enhances the midrange and the erratic behavior of the surround between 1 kHz and 2 kHz.
